Storytime for All Ages

Summer Reading

Open Crafts

All ages are welcome to attend free story time program. Includes stories, songs, crafts and surprises!

Ages 4 and up are welcome to participate.
Children need to register for
free programs.

Set your reading goal and keep track in your summer reading folder, bring your folder in each week to earn stickers for the books or minutes read. When you reach your goal turn in your folder for a free book!

Stop by the Library each week for a new activity. Complete 10 activities at the Library or at home and win a prize!

Children of all ages can stop by for open crafts all summer long.

Summer Reading

This summer is all about reading and enjoying yourself!
When you register for summer reading you will receive a folder with your summer reading log.

Summer Reading Goals

1. Decide on your goal for the summer-do you wnat to read one book or 10 books each week OR do you want to read 60 minutes each day?

2. Keep track of books or minutes in your summer reading folder. For each book read or number of minutes goal completed color in a honeycomb in your activity folder.

3. When all your honeycombs are colored in bring it to the Hayden Library for a special prize!

*** Pick up your reading certificates August 15-31 and take to your teacher or school librarian to show them how you spent your summer! Many teachers and school librarians offer prizes and extra credit!***

Summer Reading Activities

In your folder are pages with jokes, book lists, games and activities to keep you busy all summer long.

For each activity you complete earn a sticker in your folder. Earn 10 stickers and win a prize!
