A very brief history
The Friends of the Kootenai Shoshone Area Libraries with the support of the Board, staff and community the Friends have run book sales in all 6 library branches, hosted the semi-annual Friends Special Book Sale and provided countless volunteer hours and financial support to patrons throughout Kootenai and Western Shoshone counties.
